meet the team

kate, a heavyweight in the philadelphia fitness scene started teaching online in march of 2020. armed with 9 years of industry experience and a community of loyal followers, kate took zoom by storm with her program bandtogether - a no bullsh*t approach to fitness that married strength and stretch into one class. 

years later, kate’s zoom room grew into multiple studios and a team of highly trained passionate instructors who continue to elevate her method and honor together’s no bullsh*t community over everything mindset. 

in 2022 just one month into their marriage, kate's husband james left the corporate world to help her open and operate together's first brick and mortar. A talented self taught graphic designer and artist, james designs, hand screen prints and presses all merch sold in studio and online. 

how many guests are in a studio class?


what is your cancellation policy?

you can cancel a class on your own without losing the credit up to 8 hours in advance of its start time.

what should i bring?

we do not have a hydration station outside of our bathroom sink - so if you don't plan on buying a water, bring your own! other than that - we've got it all covered! 

do I need sneakers?

we require sneakers in our power/cardio classes! in our mat class, you're welcome to wear sneakers, go barefoot or wear grip socks! we sell grip socks in studio!

when should i arrive? 

ideally 15 minutes before! we have a lovely lounge in the back if you get to class early and want some peace and quiet! our team is required to open the studio 30 minutes before - so if you show up before then, you'll be sitting on our stoop!

do classes expire?

they sure do! classes/packages expire in 90 days/3 months! the 20 class pack extends the window to 180 days/6 months!

could I host an event or private class at the studio?

you sure can! we host birthdays, corporate events, bachelorettes all the time! email hello@togetheroldcity.com for information on pricing/availability.
